- Vanliga certifieringar: CompTIA Security+ (grundläggande), CEH – Certified Ethical Hacker, OSCP – Offensive Security Certified Professional (praktiskt orienterad, ofta sedd som mer krävande), CISSP (mer ledningsinriktad/bred).

Career Paths and Certifications
Learning objectives: Get an overview of the industry's most common certifications and job roles.
Content:
- Common certifications: CompTIA Security+ (foundational), CEH – Certified Ethical Hacker, OSCP – Offensive Security Certified Professional (hands-on focused, often seen as more demanding), CISSP (broader, more management-oriented). Note that exact requirements, content, and costs for certifications change over time — participants should always check current information with the relevant certifying body.
- Job roles: penetration tester, security analyst, SOC analyst (Security Operations Center), security architect, incident responder, security consultant.
- The importance of continued hands-on practice (e.g., via the platforms in Module 8) and building a portfolio/CTF (Capture The Flag) track record to complement certifications.
Exercise: Have each participant sketch a personal development plan: which certification and which practice platform they'd like to start with, and why.
